DII Tech Device Bank and the UN Sustainable Development Goals

 The DII Tech Device Bank is aligned with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), driving impact through digital inclusion, sustainability, and innovation. By collecting, refurbishing, and redistributing donated devices, the initiative supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality) by empowering youth and women with access to digital tools for learning and economic opportunity. It advances SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by enabling digital participation and fostering local refurbishment capacity.
